Hobbs Vertical ICF Wall System Becomes Pow-R-Wall
The Hobbs Vertical ICF Wall System has become Pow-R-Wall, marking the next chapter of a proven system. Pow-R-Wall operates under Resilient Building Products, a construction solutions company focused on high-performance building systems. Resilient Building Products also owns Rub-R-Wall, widely regarded as the gold standard in waterproofing. Pow-R-Wall’s contour product installs vertically, streamlining wall assembly and reducing concrete. The proprietary Contour Wall design uses 60% less concrete than a traditional poured wall and 40% less concrete than ICF block systems, eliminating the need for expensive, specialized ICF bracing. Pow-R-Wall is a 5-in-1 system integrating structure, insulation, framing, moisture barrier, and air barrier. The system requires 50% less labor than block ICF and provides 39% more insulation. “Pow-R-Wall marks the next step forward for this system,” said Andy Hobbs, founder of the Hobbs Vertical ICF Wall System. “The name has changed, but the engineering and performance remain the same.” “Pow-R-Wall fits naturally alongside Rub-R-Wall as both are proven systems designed to solve real jobsite challenges,” said Ben Stegmann, owner of Resilient Building Products. Together, they support more efficient construction, improved building performance, and long-term durability.

Winners of the 21st Annual ICF Builder & People's Choice Awards
The winners of the 2026 ICF Builder Awards were announced in person at an awards ceremony on January 21 at World of Concrete. The staff and judges appreciate everyone who attended and voted in the People’s Choice Awards. The ICF Builder Awards are the most prestigious awards to be given to the many fine projects constructed in recent years using ICFs. This year, we received a plethora of entries in 10 categories, so to be in the top three of any category is truly an amazing feat. The judges also continued to open up the voting to the public for the People’s Choice Awards. We received 6,523 votes over the two weeks that the voting was open — a great turnout! Turn to page 14 in this issue for more about each of the top 30 projects.
